Browzine

A new way to browse, read and monitor your favourite journals and get faster access to full text

Using BrowZine through the Web

You can access BrowZine by starting a search in this search box below, browsing on the site itself (similar to the Mobile App) on your browser, or through the NIE Library.

Start a search in BrowZine:

Search e-journals

Accessing directly via BrowZine:

Go to Browzine.com, and add National Institute of Education. You will be prompted to login with your NIE Login Account.

You can then search the journals you're looking for, or browse by category.

The journals displayed can be sorted in alphabetical order or by journal ranking order (Scimago Journal Ranking).

Accessing via LibDiscover (the NIE Library search interface):

Go to NIE Library and start a search e.g. keyword search. Filter by Articles under Resource Type. If an article comes from a journal that's available on BrowZine, you can click "View Issue Contents", and you will be led to the BrowZine page.

This is what the contents of an issue on BrowZine looks like, and the various functions available:

On this page, there are a few options at the bottom of each article result. You can:

  • Download PDF: the article will open directly on your browser, following which you can download the PDF;
  • Get the Link to Article: which would direct you to the article page on the publisher's site;
  • Save to my Articles: so you can bookmark the article, or if you would like to view this article later;
  • Export Citation: to Zotero, Mendeley, BibTeX, RefWorks, Endnote and more;
  • Share: to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Email.

On the left column, you can choose to bookmark this journal by clicking on "Add to My Bookshelf", or view past issues (depending on what is available).

You can view your saved journals and articles by clicking the top-left buttons ("My Bookshelf" and "My Articles").

You will need to create an account with BrowZine to save/bookmark journals and articles and use My Bookshelf and My Articles features. Logging in to your account will also sync your bookmarks with the mobile app.

You can also start a new journal search or browse other journals by category by clicking on the "BrowZine Library" button on the top left of the page.
