Due to changes in the EndNote subscription, interested users are now required to submit a request for EndNote with effect from 1 Dec 2022.
How does this affect you from 1 Dec 2022?
- If you have already installed EndNote Desktop (EndNote X9, 20) on your devices, you may continue to use it.
- If you would like to install / re-install EndNote, please submit an EndNote Request Form (below).

Things to note:
- Once you have submitted your request, you will receive a download link via email.
- This license is valid for a 6-month access to EndNote Desktop, with an option to renew the access.
- Upon the expiry of this licence or your graduation from / leaving NIE, whichever comes first, you will be required to uninstall EndNote from your computer.
