The Full Page Zoom feature in Firefox allows you to zoom in and out of web pages including text, images and other content. However, you can choose to change the text size only (instead of both text and images) using the Text Zoom feature.
How to activate Text Zoom in Firefox:
- Go to Firefox > Options > Select Menu Bar or Press the Alt key to temporarily bring up the traditional Firefox menus. (Skip this step if the View menu is already displayed.)
- On the menu bar, click the View menu, then go to Zoom.
- Select Zoom Text Only, which will make the controls only apply to text, not images.
Useful shortcuts to control text size when Text Zoom is selected:
- To zoom in: Press Control+Equal keys (Command+Equal keys on Mac) or Press Control key + Scroll up action on your mouse (Command key on Mac)
- To zoom out: Press Control+Minus keys (Command+Minus keys on Mac) or Press Control key + Scroll down action on your mouse (Command key on Mac)
- To reset zoom: Press Control+Zero keys ( Command+Zero keys on Mac)
