Dyscalculia

Dyscalculia is characterised as “problems processing numerical information, learning arithmetic facts, and performing accurate or fluent calculations” (American Psychiatric Association, 2013, p. 67). Some examples of these characteristics can include impairment in “number sense”, “memorization of arithmetic facts”, “accurate or fluent calculation”, and “accurate math reasoning” (American Psychiatric Association, 2013, p. 67).
