Google Scholar

1. On the Search Results page, click on "Cite" below the title of the result whose citation you wish to obtain.

Note: if you do not see the "Cite"  hyperlink, you may have to click on "More".

2. The citation appears in different formats.  Click on the desired citation style.  Copy the citation and paste it onto your Notepad or Word document.

3. Check the citation for adherence to style guidelines.  In this example, only the first letters of the first words of the article title and sub-title should be capitalized.  "Education" should be capitalized as it is the first word of the sub-title.  The doi (digital object identifier) should be included if one has been assigned to the paper.
